A 5-point checklist applied on every single Endure Decks build. Not a warranty document — a build method.

Every deck we build is checked against these five points before handover. If any point isn't met, we don't sign off.

Objective

Prevent standing water and moisture retention on all structural members.

Why This Matters

Water sitting on timber is the leading cause of rot, decay, and early structural failure.

Requirements

  • No horizontal surfaces where water can pond
  • Joist tops protected where decking interfaces (tape or equivalent)
  • Ledger board correctly flashed to structure
  • Clear drainage paths with no debris traps

This checklist sits above our 7-year structural warranty and manufacturer material warranties. It's the standard we hold ourselves to on every build — before any warranty clause applies.
