Baldivis blackbutt deck and pergola

A 52m² blackbutt deck in Baldivis, transforming a freshly-built home's bare backyard sand pit into a usable outdoor living space. Design freedom on this one — we worked alongside the client's vision for the space, adding a small semi-permeable battened pergola off the existing alfresco and a curve detail through the deck to bring some flow into an otherwise rectilinear yard. Provisions built into the framing to carry the weight of a sauna the client was adding later, with grass and landscape coordinated by the client but considered by our team during planning. Full site prep through to handover, and the build now sits on our Deckcare maintenance membership — we're back every 12 months to look after the timber.
